How does sourcing work and where do candidates come from?

Candid searches 1B+ profiles across LinkedIn, GitHub, and our own talent network. Every candidate is scored against your rubric, role preferences, and deal breakers. Only those that clear a high bar are surfaced, each with a detailed scorecard.

New candidates appear daily, ranked by fit, with no manual searching. Coverage compounds over time without sacrificing quality.

Does Candid replace my ATS?

No. Candid sits on top of your existing stack. It integrates with Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and 25+ other tools, plus Slack, Gmail, Outlook, and your calendar. Sourcing, scoring, and outreach happen autonomously, and qualified candidates are pushed directly into your ATS pipeline.

What makes Candid different and how does it improve over time?

Candid uses semantic search, not keyword matching, so it identifies strong matches traditional tools miss. It also does deep research on candidates beyond what's on a resume.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Candid is SOC 2 Type II compliant with encryption at rest and in transit. Your data is fully isolated and never shared across customers. All outreach is sent from your own connected mailbox, not a third-party service.

How does the outreach work?

When you shortlist a candidate, Candid generates a personalized multi-step email sequence based on their background and role fit. You can also enable LinkedIn outreach.

You review and approve the initial message. Follow-ups are custom, not templates, and reposition the opportunity with different angles. Candid responds to replies, nudges warm leads, and handles scheduling when candidates express interest. Every open, click, and reply feeds back in so messaging improves over time.

Are sourced candidates shortlisted automatically, or do I review them first?

You're in full control. Review every candidate manually, or set auto-rules to shortlist based on score thresholds and signals. Same for outreach: approve every email before it sends, or auto-send on shortlist. You decide how much is automated.

How does scheduling and meetings work?

When a candidate expresses interest, Candid coordinates directly with them to book a meeting around your team's availability. You get notified in Slack with a calendar invite, video link, and candidate summary. Rescheduling and cancellations are handled automatically.

How does pricing work?

Candid runs on a credit-based model starting at $1,000/month. Credits power everything: calibration, sourcing, outreach, candidate research, email discovery, and scheduling. Because the system is always on and token-intensive (deep reasoning models, real-time learning, 24/7 sourcing), credits scale with role intensity, ranging from 1x to 3x depending on how aggressively you want to source.
